Acceptance and eligibility
By using ChessTier, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use ChessTier for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organisation.
You must use the service in compliance with applicable law and any platform rules that apply to game data you import.
The current service
ChessTier provides browser-based chess tools, including PGN replay, local Stockfish analysis, public-game import tools, locally saved reports, and optional authentication. Paid plans, cloud storage, public sharing, and other items marked Planned are not available and do not create a purchase right or a promise of future delivery.
ChessTier may update, suspend, or remove features to maintain security, performance, or legal compliance.
Your content and public imports
You retain rights in PGNs and other content you provide. You grant ChessTier only the limited permission needed to process that content on your device and deliver the features you select.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload a PGN or request public-game information. Use of Chess.com and Lichess import tools must also comply with those platforms’ applicable terms and API rules.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, bypass security controls, scrape through ChessTier beyond the available interface, submit malicious files, infringe intellectual-property rights, or use the service to violate another person’s privacy or rights.
Do not imply that ChessTier is affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Chess.com, Lichess, Google, Firebase, or Stockfish.
Analysis disclaimer
Engine evaluations, centipawn loss, classifications, recommendations, and any training information are estimates generated by software. They are provided for chess study and entertainment, not as a guarantee of game results, rating changes, or coaching outcomes.
Disclaimers and limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChessTier is provided as is and as available without warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. You use the service at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChessTier will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the service.

For questions about these terms, contact legal@chesstier.com. We may change these terms by publishing an updated version with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent allowed by law.
