Current service scope
ChessTier currently does not provide public user uploads, public sharing, or a hosted report library. Most PGN and analysis data remains in a user’s browser. This page covers copyright concerns involving ChessTier-controlled website material or a future hosted feature.
Submitting a notice
Send a written notice to dmca@chesstier.com. Include an electronic or physical signature; identification of the copyrighted work; the exact URL or other information that allows us to locate the allegedly infringing material; your name, address, telephone number, and email; a good-faith statement that the use is not authorised; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are authorised to act for the owner.
Incomplete notices may delay review. We may ask for information needed to evaluate a request.
Counter-notices and repeat infringement
If a future hosted feature removes material following a notice, the affected user may submit a counter-notice where legally appropriate. We may forward valid notices and counter-notices to the relevant parties as required by law.
If ChessTier introduces hosted user content, it will adopt and publish a repeat-infringer policy and, where required for US safe-harbor protection, register and maintain a designated DMCA agent with the U.S. Copyright Office before relying on that protection.
